A switchblade the length of my smallest finger, inlaid with mother of pearl on the handle. Back in my former life I’d have carried a longer blade, but practically? The vessels that will make a man bleed out fastest are mostly only a fingernail’s width under the skin. I keep it sharp enough that I can gut a man if need be.
A handkerchief, because who wants to be sweaty or snotty? My mother embroidered the pansies for me as I’m medicore enough with the needle that I’d be ashamed to display my own work in public.
A small metal case of pre-rolled clove cigarettes. The case has a mirror on the inside lid so I can check my lipstick hasn’t been mussed.
Lipstick, face powder and a kohl pencil in another little case, just in case I need to touch up my face while out.
Matches. They’re a comfort item nowadays rather than anything I actually use, apart from when I wish to smoke.
